Trevor Brooking
Brooking spent a staggering seventeen seasons playing for West Ham, scoring the winning goal in their FA Cup final victory over Arsenal in 1980.
Trevor Brooking used his feet as tools of the trade to show that artistry could still beat power. Brooking made his first international appearance against Portugal in April 1974; however he did not claim a permanent position until Ron Greenwood was installed manager in 1977. Trevor Brooking formed a fine partnership with Kevin Keegan and their quick one two’s around the penalty box became a feature of England’s football play. The highlight of Brooking’s England career came in a vital world cup qualifying match against Hungary. England had to win and Brooking was outstanding scoring two great goals, one being a great 25 yard volley which left the ball lodged in the stanchion of the post and cross bar. His final tie playing for England came against Spain in the 1982 world cup finals, he missed an essential opportunity and that proved to be his final match starring for his country.

Alan Devonshire

Devonshire made his first West ham appearance in October 1976, and only played for the Hammers during his successful career. He helped West ham win the FA Cup in 1980 and went on to play for the club a total of 14 seasons, making a staggering 345 appearances for the club, scoring 29 goals while playing in midfield for the Hammers.
