Duncan Edwards
One of Manchester Uniteds greatest ever young talents, in the year 1955, Duncan Edward’s became England’s youngest ever full international when he played in a 7-2 victory over Scotland. Edwards’s international highlight came in 1956 in a match against West Germany after scoring a 25 yard goal. Edwards was aged just 21 when he died, from the tragedy of the Munich air disaster. Duncan Edwards is still recognized as one of the greatest talents the game of football has ever witnessed. Between 1953-1958 he made 151 appearances for United, scoring 19 goals and his great performances helped United to win the league in 1956 and 1957.
